The Direct Care Worker providing Respite will provide short-term care and supervision consistent with the health needs of an individual with a developmental disability. Services are provided as a planned or unplanned non-routine interval of rest and/or relief to a family member or other unpaid person who resides with and provides ongoing care for a consumer. The Direct Care Worker will deliver services with compassion and respect.
The Direct Care Worker providing Attendant Care will provide services in order for an individual with a developmental disability to remain in her/her home and/or participate in work/community activities. The Direct Care Worker will assist the consumer to attain or maintain safe and sanitary living conditions and/or maintain personal cleanliness and activities of daily living. The Direct Care Worker will deliver services with compassion and respect.
The Direct Care Worker providing Habilitation will provide a variety of interventions designed to maximize the functioning of a person with a developmental disability. Services are designed to assist individuals in acquiring, retaining, and improving self-help, socialization, and adaptive skills necessary to reside successfully in home and community-based settings. The services include the provision of training in independent living skills or special developmental skills, orientation and mobility training, sensorimotor development, and behavioral management.
